A member of the League's Management Committee, Phil Williamson, and his wife Valerie, celebrated their Golden wedding anniversary on 23 April 2010. Below is a photo of the happy couple cutting their cake to mark the occasion. They were married 50 years ago to the very day at Intwood Church. Phil was the first to admit that he could not have been so involved with his football interests during that time without the support and encouragement of Valerie. The League adds its congratulations and wishes them all the best for the future.
